Pinz - Silver Event Sponsor - Super Expo 2013
Pinz was proud to be a silver sponsor of the 2013 BMAA and Specialised Textiles Association Super Expo.
The Blind Manufacturers' Association of Australia (BMAA) and the Specialised Textiles Association (STA) joined forces this year to hold a "Super Expo" at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5-7 June 2013.
With involvement from members of both associations, the Super Expo was the largest trade exhibition ever staged for the window furnishings and specialised textiles industries in Australasia, and attracted significant numbers of visitors - both from Australia and overseas.
As well as taking up the role of silver sponsor Pinz exhibited our wide range of outdoor blind and shade products which were extremly well received by visitors to the Expo. We were also very excited to showcase our new products including the EOS Verandah Awning with retractable shade roof, the Ares full cassette folding arm awning and the Desert full cassette drop arm awning.

Pinz - 2011 Blinds Expo and Training Day
The second Pinz Expo and Training Day was held in Adelaide on Friday the 26th of August 2011 and saw over 200 blind industry professionals get together for a day of training, networking and product showcasing.
The event was held at The Lakes Resort Hotel in West Lakes, South Australia and provided a unique opportunity for Pinz to showcase our product range and for customers and industry members to gain valuable insite into Pinz manufacturing techniques, new product developments and to come face to face with the Pinz team and our always supportive suppliers.
The Pinz team would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2011 Expo and we recognise that many people travelled a long way to attend this year’s event. Along with the support of our suppliers we are pleased to be able to provide customers and industry professionals with access to a high level of training and product knowledge and see the biannual Expo as an important date for everyone’s calendars!

Pinz - Inaugural Installer Awards 2011
The 2011 Pinz Awards for Excellence in Design & Installation were presented during a cocktail party following the Pinz Expo.
The Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Party was a great way to celebrate the fantastic efforts of all installers and companies who submitted entries into this years awards. The ceremony followed a busy day for our 12 judges and presentations were made to the winners in the four main product categories.
The overall winner of the 2011 Award for Excellence in Design and Installation went to Dean Ray from South Coast Curtains and Blinds in Warrnambool. This perfectly fitted curved infill panel and matching Ziptraks really impressed the judges and scored Dean from South Coast Curtains & Blinds a win in the Shade Elements best Other Product Domestic Installation category and the overall prize for Excellence in Design & Installation.
The judges were particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the effort that Dean went to provide a great result for his customer. Dean installed a timber post and beam and by measuring many points of the curve the South Coast team were able to complete a job that they are extremely proud of and that is helping them gain a reputation for being able to find a solution to a difficult job in their service area.

Pinz 25th Birthday Party - March 2011
The Pinz 25th Birthday Party was held on Friday the 18th of March and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to help us celebrate this milestone.
The past 25 years has seen Pinz grow and change and is certainly a milestone worth celebrating - which is just
what we did last Friday night! The Pinz Team were joined by over 150 customers, suppliers, colleagues
and friends and a great night was had by all.
